Warranty Project Manager

About the role

The Warranty Project Manager is responsible for overseeing the full warranty lifecycle and handling external non‑conformities (NCRs). The role ensures timely resolution of customer claims, drives root‑cause investigations, and implements corrective actions to uphold product quality and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end warranty processes, including material replacement, service coordination, and equipment disposition.
• Lead root‑cause analysis investigations for all external NCRs and develop corrective‑preventive action plans.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, providing regular updates on claim status.
• Coordinate cross‑functional teams (engineering, manufacturing, logistics) to deliver timely solutions.
• Negotiate expectations with internal and external stakeholders and resolve conflicts related to warranty issues.
• Generate, analyze and report on quality KPIs such as claims volume, post‑delivery NCRs and Net Promoter Score.
• Utilize quality tools and SAP to monitor trends, identify improvement opportunities and maintain comprehensive project documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering or a related technical field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in project management, quality assurance or a customer‑facing technical role, preferably in heavy equipment or electrical manufacturing.
