Account Manager IV

About the role

We are looking for an energetic Account Manager IV to open new doors and build trusted partnerships with hospitals, healthcare institutions, medical schools and universities across Mexico and Central America. You will promote Elsevier’s clinical decision‑support and medical‑education solutions, helping customers access innovative tools that improve patient care and education.

Key responsibilities

• Drive new‑business growth across hospitals, healthcare institutions, medical schools and universities in the region.
• Identify, develop and close opportunities for Elsevier’s healthcare solutions portfolio.
• Position products such as ClinicalKey, ClinicalKey AI, Complete Anatomy, Osmosis and other innovative solutions.
• Build and manage a strong prospect pipeline through proactive prospecting.
• Navigate complex B2B sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders and executive decision‑makers.
• Use a consultative selling approach to understand customer needs and build trusted relationships.
• Collaborate with internal teams to support customer success and account‑growth opportunities.

Required profile

• Proven track record in new‑business development and exceeding sales targets.
• Strong hunter mindset with excellent prospecting and pipeline‑generation skills.
• Experience managing complex B2B sales cycles with multiple stakeholders.
• Consultative selling approach and strong relationship‑building abilities.
• Experience in healthcare, health‑technology, medical education, SaaS or scientific‑information solutions preferred.
• Advanced English proficiency.
• Willingness to travel across Mexico and Central America.
