Accounting Specialist

About the role

The Accounting Specialist will handle a range of accounting activities, ensuring accurate transaction processing, reconciliations and timely financial reporting. You will work closely with various departments to support month‑end and year‑end closing cycles.

Key responsibilities

• Record and process accounting transactions in line with company policies and accounting standards.
• Perform and review bank reconciliations, ensuring all movements are correctly posted.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to resolve discrepancies and complete reconciliations.
• Review credit‑card transactions for compliance and accuracy.
• Maintain prepaid account schedules and post related journal entries.
• Conduct account reconciliations and address variances.
• Support month‑end and year‑end closing activities.
• Maintain organized records for audits and compliance.
• Assist in accounting process improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• 4–5 years of experience in accounting roles.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP/IFRS.
• Excellent organizational, time‑management and attention‑to‑detail.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP systems, preferably SAP.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
