AI Coach Tech Lead/Architect

About the role

As a Software Architect with strong AI coaching expertise, you will lead the end‑to‑end technical delivery of digital products, stepping in hands‑on when needed while guiding teams toward scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions. You will shape technology strategy, ensure high performance, and champion AI‑first engineering practices.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design and evolution of technology solutions, guaranteeing scalability, performance, security, and maintainability.
• Make architectural decisions and trade‑offs (e.g., microservices vs modular monolith) using DDD, Clean/Hexagonal Architecture, and event‑driven patterns.
• Design, build, and evolve REST APIs with versioning, contract‑first OpenAPI specifications, backward compatibility and robust error handling.
• Define and enforce engineering standards: clean code, testing strategy, code reviews, observability, security practices and CI/CD pipelines.
• Mentor and coach engineers, fostering a strong delivery culture and continuously raising the engineering bar.
• Partner with Product, QA, UX and stakeholders to refine scope, assess technical risks, shape the roadmap and deliver incrementally.
• Promote AI‑first engineering practices (Copilot/GenAI) with proper governance, quality gates, security, traceability and testing.

Required profile

• 10+ years of software engineering experience with proven technical leadership (Tech Lead, Lead Engineer or senior engineer with leadership responsibilities).
• Strong backend expertise in Java (preferably 17/21/25+) with solid testing practices (JUnit, Mockito) and performance awareness.
• Demonstrated ability to design and communicate software architecture (microservices, modular monolith, Clean/Hexagonal, SOLID, integration patterns, API design).
• Deep understanding of CI/CD, Git workflows, observability (logs, metrics, traces) and security‑by‑design principles.
• Professional English (B2+) for global collaboration and documentation.
