About the role
The Accounting Analyst will support the finance team by managing bank reconciliations for both US and Mexican books and processing a variety of journal entries related to insurance amortization and expense accruals.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare monthly and periodic bank reconciliations for 14 US accounts and 14 Mexican accounts (total 28 reconciliations).
- Record journal entries for insurance amortization (medical, life, fire) and accruals for security, alarms, garbage collection, cleaning services, and audit services.
- Maintain and update the checklist of standard journal entries during the closing period.
- Verify daily that all journal entries are approved and keep the AssureNET reports current.
- Support internal and external audit processes by providing required information.
Required profile
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent.
- Two to three years of general accounting experience.
Required skills
- Proficiency with AssureNET reporting tool.
