Analyst 2 – Customer Due Diligence (AML)

About the role

The Periodic Review Due Diligence Specialist conducts AML periodic and event‑driven reviews of merchants and sub‑merchants to ensure customer information, ownership structures and transaction profiles remain accurate and compliant. The role supports Checkout.com’s monitoring framework by assessing risk ratings, managing cases, and escalating when necessary, while embodying the company’s operating principles.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct end‑to‑end AML periodic and event‑driven reviews in line with internal policies and timelines.
• Review and verify merchant ownership structures, business activities, processing activity and supporting documentation.
• Assess and update merchant risk ratings and due‑diligence levels based on current information.
• Manage review cases in Salesforce and Fircosoft Compliance Link, maintaining audit‑ready notes and evidence.
• Raise Requests for Information (RFIs), perform enhanced due diligence for high‑risk merchants, and escalate unusual or suspicious activity.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in AML, KYC, KYB, CDD or EDD.
• Strong analytical and investigative abilities with attention to detail.
• Excellent written communication for case notes, RFIs and stakeholder updates.
• Ability to manage a high volume of cases while meeting deadlines and maintaining quality.
