Billing Analyst

About the role

Monks is looking for a Billing Analyst to join its Corporate finance team. The analyst will support billing operations, ensure accurate invoicing, and help build scalable accounting processes.

Key responsibilities

• Review contracts, IOs and SOWs to confirm approval and correct billing rates.
• Manage the billing engine, verify platform data and guarantee timely, accurate invoices.
• Collaborate with delivery teams to resolve invoice discrepancies quickly.
• Reconcile monthly COGS accruals and bills.
• Assist legal and sales teams with customer credit and risk analysis.
• Develop and maintain billing metrics for senior leadership.
• Identify process improvements and coordinate cross‑departmental efficiency initiatives.
• Support ad‑hoc finance projects as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or a related field.
• 3+ years of accounting experience, including at least 1 year in accounts receivable or billing.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to prioritize competing demands and work with large data sets.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Experience in AdTech or technology startups is a plus.
