Brand & Community Manager

About the role

Tala is seeking a dynamic Brand & Community Manager to lead its social media presence and drive community engagement across key platforms. Reporting to the Marketing Director, you will shape the brand voice, create compelling content, and explore emerging channels to amplify Tala’s mission of expanding credit access for the global majority.

Key responsibilities

• Design and execute content strategies for Meta, TikTok, and YouTube.
• Manage daily interactions, comments, and messages across all social platforms.
• Grow follower bases and boost engagement through community management initiatives.
• Identify and test new social channels and trends to broaden reach.
• Develop, curate, and edit written, video, and graphic content.
• Produce live social coverage at events and webinars.
• Maintain a consistent brand voice across all channels.
• Monitor industry trends and competitor activity.
• Analyze performance metrics and generate regular reports.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in social media marketing, community or content management.
• Deep understanding of current social media trends and platform nuances.
• Strong time‑management skills with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
• Proven track record of growing and engaging online communities.
