About the role
The Buyer will manage the full order lifecycle, ensuring that the company obtains the best value from its suppliers. This position requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and issue Request for Quotations (RFQs) for a wide range of commodities.
- Review supplier proposals, negotiate prices and terms, and select the most suitable vendors.
- Analyse market trends and supplier performance to drive cost‑effective solutions.
- Track placed orders, verify deliveries, and approve payments.
- Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation.
Required profile
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in purchasing, inventory, or supply‑chain management.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Detail‑oriented, highly organised and able to work as part of a team.
