About the role

We are looking for a C++ Software Developer to design and maintain safety‑critical software that keeps autonomous vehicles operating safely even when hardware or software components degrade. The position is fully remote and focuses on real‑time, constrained embedded environments.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop safety‑critical C++ components for fail‑operational systems.
• Architect resilient system behaviours to ensure safe vehicle operation under degradation.
• Implement high‑performance solutions in highly constrained embedded environments.
• Collaborate with systems engineering teams to define safety requirements and fail‑safe architectures.
• Apply robotics and motion‑planning knowledge to improve autonomous system reliability.
• Adapt designs to evolving project requirements within a dynamic engineering framework.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of experience in systems engineering, embedded software, or robotics.
• Proven track record developing fail‑operational and safety‑critical systems using C++.
• Hands‑on experience with embedded hardware and software.
• Strong background in robotics or motion planning for autonomous vehicles.
• Expertise in reliability engineering and designing for system resilience.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
