Call Center Universal Agent

About the role

Join Carter’s Inc., the leading North American retailer for babies and young children, as a Call Center Universal Agent. You will be the first point of contact for customers, providing support via phone, email, and chat while representing multiple beloved brands.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver first‑level customer support across phone, email, and chat channels.
• Communicate clearly in both written and verbal formats, handling inquiries accurately.
• Identify opportunities to upsell or cross‑sell Carter’s and OshKosh products.
• Document customer interactions, complaints, and resolutions in the Contact Center system.
• Escalate complex issues to management or lead agents as needed.
• Maintain confidentiality and accuracy of customer data.
• Participate in training sessions and suggest process improvements.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED preferred (not mandatory).
• Minimum six months of customer service experience; call‑center, retail, or e‑commerce background is a plus.
• Strong listening, verbal, and written communication abilities.
• Ability to work independently, follow schedules, and manage duties with minimal supervision.
• Computer literacy and comfort navigating Windows‑based applications and multiple communication platforms.
