Call Center Universal Agent

About the role

Carter’s Inc., the leading North American retailer for babies and young children, is seeking a Call Center Universal Agent to serve as the first point of contact for customers across phone, email, and chat channels. You will help families find the right products while delivering a high‑quality customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat, providing accurate information and solutions.
• Upsell and cross‑sell Carter’s, OshKosh B’gosh, Skip*Hop, and Little Planet products.
• Document all interactions in the contact‑center system and maintain up‑to‑date customer records.
• Escalate complex issues to a lead agent or management when necessary.
• Suggest process improvements and participate in team trainings.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED (preferred but not required).
• Minimum six months of customer service experience, preferably in a call‑center, retail, or e‑commerce environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, follow schedules, and manage duties with minimal supervision.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Windows‑based applications.
• Working knowledge of office software (e.g., Microsoft Office).
• Experience using email and chat platforms for customer communication.
