About the role
The Clinic Office Representative serves as the first point of contact for patients, ensuring a welcoming environment and smooth administrative flow within the medical center. This role involves managing patient interactions, phone communications, and supporting daily office operations during standard business hours.
Key responsibilities
- Greet and check‑in patients upon arrival.
- Answer telephone calls and direct inquiries appropriately.
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments.
- Maintain, file, and update patient records accurately.
- Check patients out and collect payments.
- Perform additional clerical duties as assigned.
Required profile
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous clinic or medical office experience preferred.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to type at a minimum of 35‑40 words per minute.
- Professional, reliable, and detail‑oriented.
