Clinical Nurse C-CCST – East Campus Hospital

About the role

The Clinical Nurse C-CCST (Critical Care Specialty Team) works within a large tertiary academic medical center that includes multiple hospitals, ambulatory sites, a Level I Trauma Center, and specialized stroke and chest pain centers. The nurse operates under the collaborative direction of a board‑certified anesthesiologist and a patient care manager.

Key responsibilities

• Provide critical care, sedation, and patient transport services in a high‑acuity environment.
• Adapt clinical practice to a variety of settings, including confined spaces.
• Apply theoretical concepts to daily patient care and continuously expand specialty knowledge.
• Maintain compliance with healthcare regulations and accreditation standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; associate or diploma acceptable for hires before April 1 2020.
• Minimum three years of critical care or emergency nursing experience.
• Active California RN license.
• Experience in Loma Linda University Health system preferred.

Required skills

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.
• Trauma Nursing Care Course (TNCC) certification within 90 days of hire.
