Cloud System Administrator

About the role

We are looking for a Cloud System Administrator to design, implement and maintain business continuity and disaster recovery solutions within Insulet’s virtual infrastructure. The role works closely with systems and networking teams to ensure data protection, backup reliability and network connectivity across our data environment.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure all systems are properly backed up and perform restore testing, logging results.
• Maintain data backup infrastructure, configuration and regular testing.
• Update and maintain disaster recovery (DR) processes and procedures.
• Document systems and processes to support availability.
• Repair and maintain infrastructure components with vendors to achieve 100% service availability.
• Monitor redundancy status for critical applications and verify business continuity.
• Administer full DR/BCP tests for applications, infrastructure and customer‑facing services.
• Perform after‑hour testing and verification as required.
• Perform other duties as needed.

Required profile

• Task‑oriented with strong attention to detail.
• Self‑motivated and keeps up‑to‑date with new technologies.
• Good judgment in prioritising work and solving problems.
• Experience with data backup and recovery procedures.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
• Understanding of Windows and Linux servers in a production data‑center.
• Understanding of networking technologies and their impact on servers and services.
• Experience in a medical‑device or FDA‑validated environment is a plus.
• Experience with Azure and AWS (cloud networking and IaaS) is a plus.
