Compliance Analyst

About the role

Sezzle is looking for a detail‑oriented Compliance Analyst to join its Compliance Team. The role provides second‑line oversight and day‑to‑day advisory support, translating regulatory requirements into practical guidance and ensuring the company meets consumer finance and payment regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Provide compliance advisory support on consumer finance and payments requirements, documenting guidance and decisions.
• Support intake, tracking, and completion of compliance operations, advisory requests, alerts, and cases using defined workflows.
• Perform second‑line oversight reviews of complaint handling for higher‑risk channels and contribute to trend analysis.
• Maintain issue/action logs, validate remediation plans, and monitor closure of compliance issues.
• Review change‑management initiatives for compliance impact, control readiness, and required approvals.
• Conduct pre‑use compliance reviews of marketing and customer communications, identifying disclosures and risks.
• Assist with product development compliance assessments and coordinate risk documentation.
• Support third‑party compliance activities, including due‑diligence and contract monitoring.
