About the role

The Senior Buyer will lead logistics procurement for cbrands, shaping sourcing strategies for transportation, warehousing and related services across Mexico. The role ensures cost‑effective, reliable supply chain operations supporting the company’s Beer, Wine & Spirits portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute logistics sourcing strategies, managing multimodal spend and carrier capacity.
• Conduct supplier negotiations, contract reviews and administration for freight, warehousing and contract logistics.
• Analyze transportation rates, lane economics, accessorial charges and warehouse pricing to drive data‑based decisions.
• Lead RFI/RFP/RFQ processes, evaluate bids, maintain supplier scorecards and track savings.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to align procurement recommendations with business needs.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Finance, Industrial Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, transportation or logistics.
• Proven ability to work independently, influence stakeholders and manage high‑volume transportation or warehousing activities.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with ERP, e‑sourcing, transportation management systems or spend analytics platforms.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with procurement analytics and reporting tools.
• Strong knowledge of contract terms, insurance requirements, rate structures and total cost of ownership analysis.
