Construction Manager – Capital Projects (Greenfield)

About the role

We are building a flagship Greenfield manufacturing facility in Tlaxcala, Mexico, leveraging Industry 4.0 automation and sustainability standards. The Construction Manager – Capital Projects will lead the end‑to‑end construction of all building and civil works, acting as the local subject‑matter expert from design through startup.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate the engineering design firm to deliver construction‑ready designs that meet Coca‑Cola standards, local regulations and sustainability goals.
• Lead on‑site construction execution, managing contractors and ensuring delivery within cost, schedule, quality and safety targets.
• Serve as the primary interface between engineering, construction teams and global stakeholders.
• Oversee commissioning, site readiness and hand‑over to operations, guaranteeing a fit‑for‑purpose facility.
• Maintain project governance, monitor performance, manage risks and report progress to leadership.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams, ensuring alignment, accountability and high performance throughout the project lifecycle.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
• 10 + years of construction management experience on large‑scale capital projects (>$100 M), preferably in industrial, FMCG or food‑beverage environments.
• Proven track record delivering greenfield projects and managing contractors, engineering firms and multiple stakeholders.
• Fluent English (written and spoken).
• Preferred PMP certification and experience with LEED or equivalent sustainable building certifications.
