Contracts Counsel – Remote Contract Role

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Contracts Counsel to join a cutting‑edge AI training initiative. This remote, contract‑based position focuses on commercial contracts and legal documentation, helping to shape the next generation of AI systems. Prior AI experience is not required – deep legal expertise is.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and continuously improve contract negotiation playbooks.
• Draft, review, and analyze a wide range of commercial agreements.
• Provide legal guidance on contract negotiation, risk management, and compliance.
• Review, update, and enhance contract templates and related documentation.
• Supply eligible, non‑confidential legal materials for AI training purposes.
• Collaborate with legal and project teams to ensure high‑quality deliverables.

Required profile

• Extensive experience as a General Counsel, Corporate Counsel, or similar in‑house legal role.
• Strong background in commercial contract drafting, negotiation, and management.
• Proven experience creating contract playbooks and legal templates.
• Excellent legal writing, communication, and analytical abilities.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Solid understanding of confidentiality, compliance, and legal risk management.
