Control & Reporting Accountant

About the role

As a Control & Reporting Accountant at PepsiCo, you will be responsible for analyzing and recording financial operations for the LAB North unit, ensuring compliance with company policies, and delivering timely financial reports.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze balance sheet items and ensure no unexpected financial impacts.
• Prepare and execute financial reports using Smartview, FDM, and HFM.
• Contribute to periodic, quarterly, and annual reporting cycles.
• Consolidate monthly financial statement packages (Balance Sheet, P&L, supporting documentation) in HFM.
• Execute month‑end close processes, including GL journal entries, in accordance with PepsiCo requirements.
• Provide financial analysis and decision‑support information to the business unit.
• Communicate clearly with OU, intercompany counterparts, and regional SSC teams.
• Maintain strong networking with Latam country teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• 2–3 years of experience in general accounting or similar roles.
• Intermediate level of English.
• Ability to work independently, under pressure, and meet strict deadlines.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for interaction with all organizational levels.

Required skills

• Oracle (financial system) experience.
• SAP experience.
• Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) experience.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, data analysis, macros).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
