Controller – Finance & Accounting Lead

About the role

The Controller will lead the Finance function for a division of Parker Hannifin, ensuring the integrity of the General Ledger, compliance with regulations, and robust internal controls. You will partner with Business Unit and Divisional teams to drive financial planning, reporting, and performance analysis.

Key responsibilities

• Report financial results and performance analysis to the Division and Business Unit staff.
• Review and approve General Ledger transactions and safeguard fixed‑asset integrity.
• Participate in business planning sessions and report Business Unit status.
• Monitor capital‑project investments, inventory valuation, and savings initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with Parker policies and government regulations.
• Lead talent management and development for the accounting team.
• Approve expense, vendor, disposal, inventory‑adjustment, and system‑access requests.
• Act as legal representative before government institutions and maintain legal documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting (Master’s preferred).
• Minimum 5 years of accounting/finance experience; 3+ years of leadership preferred.
• Experience in a maquiladora or world‑class manufacturing environment, preferably across multiple sites.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and Mexican GAAP, and of relevant government regulations.
• Fluent bilingual communication skills and high integrity.
