Controller Manager – Finance Planning & Reporting

About the role

The Controller Manager supports Wella Company's financial planning, operational reporting, and performance management processes. This position ensures accurate budgeting, timely reporting, and insightful analysis to enable informed decision‑making across the business.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual Management Operating Reports (MOR) with accuracy and on schedule.
• Manage the annual budgeting process, monitor financial performance against forecasts, and adjust budgets for price variations.
• Develop reserves and provisions for I‑trade, purchase price variances, E&O, inventory, and other key areas.
• Calculate and estimate Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) for productivity projects and strategic initiatives.
• Prepare performance reports for material usage and loss, identifying root causes of variances.
• Evaluate and report significant cost and expense variances, providing insights for resource optimization.
• Communicate operational results and insights clearly to stakeholders and support cross‑functional teams with analytical expertise.
• Promote strong internal controls, support internal/external audit processes, and participate in performance management and continuous‑improvement initiatives.
