Controllership Senior Manager

About the role

Kavak is seeking a Controllership Senior Manager to lead its global financial reporting function. Reporting to the Director of Global Controllership, you will ensure compliance with IFRS, corporate policies, and public‑company standards while strengthening internal controls across all subsidiaries.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate the global monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close process.
• Prepare, review, and certify consolidated, statutory, and management financial statements in line with IFRS and corporate policies.
• Analyze financial results, highlight significant variances, and communicate accounting impacts.
• Develop and maintain global accounting policies; provide technical guidance to regional finance teams.
• Lead adoption of new accounting standards and document conclusions in technical memoranda.
• Design and enhance Internal Controls over Financial Reporting (ICFR) and drive SOX compliance initiatives.
• Serve as primary liaison for external auditors, managing global audit schedules and PCAOB‑compliant audit activities.
• Ensure timely statutory filings and regulatory reporting across multiple jurisdictions.
• Collaborate with FP&A, Legal, HR, and regional teams on strategic projects such as M&A and entity restructuring.

Required profile

• Senior‑level finance professional with extensive experience in global financial reporting.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, SOX, and PCAOB audit requirements.
• Proven ability to lead cross‑functional teams and manage complex accounting projects.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.
