Corporate Controller

About the role

Omnidian is seeking a Corporate Controller to lead its accounting function and support the company’s rapid growth in the clean‑energy sector. The role is fully remote and reports directly to the CFO, partnering with business leaders to build scalable financial infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly and annual close for US and Australian entities, ensuring speed, accuracy and continuous improvement.
• Prepare and own consolidated financial statements under US GAAP, including intercompany eliminations, multi‑currency consolidation and technical accounting positions.
• Deliver timely, reliable reporting to the CFO, Board and investors.
• Own the external audit relationship and drive clean, on‑time completions across all jurisdictions.
• Maintain and strengthen the internal control environment and build audit‑ready infrastructure for strategic transactions.
• Manage compliance with sales, use and property tax obligations in multiple states and internationally.
• Ensure compliance with bank covenants and investor reporting requirements.
• Lead the accounting technology roadmap, optimizing NetSuite, evaluating AI‑native tools and automating close, reconciliation and reporting workflows.
• Identify and implement new methods that reduce manual effort and increase analytical value.
• Manage and develop a team of 4–8 accounting professionals, including the Assistant Controller.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience in accounting and finance.
• Proficiency in US GAAP, mergers & acquisitions, investor reporting, internal control and financial reporting.
• Conversational English and ability to work across GMT‑10:00 to GMT‑06:00 time zones.
• Demonstrated experience managing audits, tax compliance and financial systems.
• Strong leadership skills with a track record of building high‑performing teams.

• Competitive base salary $200,000‑$230,000 USD per year.
