Corporate Counsel

About the role

The Corporate Counsel will provide legal and business advice across a broad range of corporate matters to support Jabil’s global operations, with a focus on Mexico. The role involves corporate contracting, compliance, governance, and dispute management while ensuring alignment with local and international laws.

Key responsibilities

• Provide legal counsel on corporate, commercial, employment, regulatory and compliance issues.
• Draft, review and negotiate commercial agreements such as supply, service and vendor contracts.
• Ensure company activities comply with Mexican federal and state laws and relevant international regulations.
• Support corporate governance initiatives and monitor adherence to internal policies.
• Manage litigation and dispute resolution, coordinating with external counsel as needed.
• Conduct legal research and deliver proactive guidance on emerging legal risks.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including HR, finance and operations.
• Develop and deliver legal training for employees.

Required profile

• Law degree (Juris Doctor or equivalent) from an accredited institution.
• Licensed to practice law in Mexico and in good standing.
• Minimum five years of relevant legal experience, preferably in a multinational or manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of Mexican corporate, commercial, labor and regulatory law; international experience is a plus.
• Excellent judgment, high integrity and professional ethics.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent drafting, negotiation and communication abilities in English and Spanish.
