Corporate IT Lead

About the role

We are looking for a Corporate IT Lead to own all IT operations, security, compliance and employee technology experience for a distributed workforce. This senior individual‑contributor role works with MSPs, specialist contractors and SaaS vendors to deliver services without managing internal staff.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full employee lifecycle – onboarding, off‑boarding and hardware provisioning for Windows and macOS fleets.
• Hold MSPs and external vendors accountable, defining performance metrics and ensuring service quality across US and UK/European hours.
• Oversee the SaaS portfolio – access control, license optimisation and rationalisation, and provide governance for business tools such as Microsoft Dynamics 365.
• Lead identity and access management (Microsoft Entra ID/Azure AD, M365, SSO, MFA, privileged access) and the SOC 2 compliance programme from audit coordination to remediation.
• Direct endpoint security, vendor reviews and corporate incident response, and establish AI‑tool policies and information‑management frameworks.

Required profile

• 5+ years of IT experience with ownership of operations in a distributed or lean environment.
• Proven track record driving SOC 2, ISO 27001 or equivalent compliance programmes.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), Microsoft 365, SSO, MFA and employee lifecycle management.
• Hands‑on experience supporting Windows and macOS environments.
• Demonstrated ability to manage, evaluate and hold MSPs and external contractors accountable.
• Self‑driven, analytical and process‑oriented with excellent written communication.
