Courier – Package Delivery and Sorting

About the role

We are seeking a reliable Courier to join our FedEx Express team. The role involves timely delivery, collection and sorting of packages while providing excellent customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Pick up, sort, inspect and deliver assigned packages in accordance with FedEx Express service standards.
• Complete all required paperwork, including airway bills, delivery records and customs documentation.
• Verify package labeling, weight, size, hazardous-material requirements and insurance values.
• Maintain the security of packages, cash, equipment and hazardous materials.
• Operate the assigned vehicle safely, following local traffic regulations and company policies.
• Provide customers with necessary shipping supplies and address any service inquiries.
• Identify additional business opportunities and relay leads to the sales team.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license appropriate for the assigned vehicle and a clean driving record.
• Minimum age of 21 years.
• Ability to lift 70 lb (32 kg) and handle single packages up to 150 lb (68 kg) with equipment.
• Successful completion of basic reading, map reading, sorting and math tests.
• Neat, clean‑cut appearance and good verbal and written communication skills.
• Flexibility to work variable shifts.
