Customer Service Representative – Utility Services (4‑month contract, remote)

About the role

Utility Profit is looking for a remote Customer Service Representative to help renters set up water, electric, gas, and internet utilities. The role is based in Mexico (or within two hours of the US Central Time Zone) and lasts four months.

Key responsibilities

• Assist renters in placing utility orders and explain available options via phone, text, and email.
• Make outbound calls to follow up with renters and, when needed, coordinate with utility providers.
• Support internal teams by handling additional client‑related tasks as time permits.
• Maintain accurate records of interactions in the company’s CRM system.

Required profile

• Strong communication skills in English (and Spanish preferred).
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Customer‑focused mindset with a sales‑adjacent attitude.
• Reliability to meet daily outreach and follow‑up targets.

Required skills

• Experience using CRM or similar customer‑service software.
