Cyber Security Analyst – Compliance & Operations

About the role

Volex de México’s Tijuana plant is seeking a Cyber Security Analyst to join the IT department. The analyst will protect the company’s information systems, networks and digital infrastructure while supporting the plant’s expansion into automotive harnesses and connectors.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain compliance with standards such as ISO 27001 and NIST, assist in audits and track remediation.
• Develop, review and update ISMS policies, procedures and guidelines, and support organization‑wide awareness.
• Monitor security alerts from XDR platforms, vulnerability scanners and patch management tools, investigate incidents and coordinate escalation.
• Collaborate with IT and infrastructure teams to ensure timely patching and vulnerability remediation.
• Document security controls, risk assessments and corrective actions, and produce regular compliance reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security or a related field.
• At least three years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on compliance and security operations.
• Hands‑on experience with ISMS frameworks (ISO 27001) and regulatory compliance.
• Proven ability to work with technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
