CyberSecurity Intern

About the role

We are looking for a motivated CyberSecurity Intern to support the security of our systems and data. You will work alongside experienced security professionals across Security Operations, Advanced Analysis, DevOps and Engineering, gaining hands‑on experience in a fast‑growing cyber‑fusion company.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor network and system logs to detect security incidents and analyse alerts.
• Collaborate with the DevOps team to embed security controls into CI/CD pipelines and automate related processes.
• Assist in vulnerability assessment, prioritisation and remediation across infrastructure and applications.
• Contribute to the development and enhancement of security tools and automation scripts for monitoring, logging and response.

Required profile

• Recent graduate or current student in CyberSecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology or a related discipline.
• Basic understanding of networking concepts and protocols.
• Familiarity with core CyberSecurity principles and best practices.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, learn quickly and collaborate in a team environment.

Required skills

• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure.
• Experience with container technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with security tools (SIEM, IDS/IPS, vulnerability scanners).
• Understanding of security frameworks and compliance standards (NIST, PCI‑DSS).
• Fundamental networking protocols.
