About the role
As a Data Analyst on Stripe's Payments Health Operations team, you will monitor and maintain payments performance for the company’s largest users. You will work at the core of Stripe’s platform, ensuring the reliability of the payments stack and the health of the broader ecosystem. The role combines deep analytical work with close collaboration across product, support, and financial partner teams.
Key responsibilities
- Monitor authorization rates and payment performance for large users, responding quickly to alerts of degradation.
- Triaging, investigating, and diagnosing the root causes of performance regressions.
- Communicate findings to account teams, banking partners, and card networks.
- Provide in‑depth analysis of cost checkers to ensure optimal cost structures.
- Answer queries from product support and technical account management teams.
- Engage with users and internal teams to maximize acceptance rates while minimizing costs and fraud.
Required profile
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex payment data.
- Experience working with large‑scale financial or payments data.
- Excellent communication skills for presenting findings to technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
- Collaborative attitude to work across product, support, and partner teams.
