Data Scientist – Machine Learning for Member Practices & Compliance

About the role

The Data Scientist will support the Member Practices & Compliance (MPC) team by designing and maintaining machine‑learning models that detect potential marketing plan manipulation and channel distribution infractions across Herbalife distributors. The position works in a hybrid setting, attending the Guadalajara office three days a week.

Key responsibilities

• Create, update, and production‑scale machine‑learning models using Python.
• Extract and analyse data from Power BI semantic models and SQL tables, ensuring data quality and completeness.
• Maintain and improve existing models to optimise performance.
• Translate business questions into analytical solutions and deliver insights through visualisations, PowerPoint decks and verbal presentations.
• Produce ad‑hoc analyses to understand distributor, customer, product and market behaviours.

Required profile

• At least 1 year of experience with data analysis tools such as Power BI/DAX.
• Background in statistics, data analysis and data visualisation.
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and ability to work independently or in a team.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
