Design Engineer – Brackets and Small Automotive Components

About the role

We are looking for a Design Engineer specialized in brackets and small components for automotive vehicle families. The role involves turning concepts into validated, production‑ready parts while working closely with cross‑functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design, specify, test, validate and release brackets and small components for designated vehicle families.
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing and quality teams throughout the entire product development cycle.
• Apply knowledge of automotive systems, assembly processes, and manufacturing methods.
• Develop and follow Design Verification Plans & Reports (DVP&R) to ensure compliance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Automotive, Electrical, Electro‑mechanical, Aerospace or Industrial Engineering.
• Strong understanding of internal combustion engines, thermodynamics and statistics.
• Experience in testing, validation and failure analysis within the automotive sector or similar industries.
• Leadership, effective communication, a positive attitude and strong teamwork skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CIE, NX, CATIA, PLM, SolidWorks and structural analysis tools.
• Familiarity with Design Verification Plan & Report (DVP&R) processes.
