Design Engineer V – Production Structures

About the role

Gulfstream Aerospace is seeking a Design Engineer V to support the planning, coordination, and execution of design and analysis activities for production structures. The role will contribute to the development and release of Gulfstream products at the GAC Mexicali facility.

Key responsibilities

• Research and analyze engineering data to solve low to high‑complexity problems.
• Provide custom engineering support throughout the product release process.
• Define and implement engineering changes required to address issues.
• Incorporate design changes into engineering definitions and documentation.
• Collaborate with manufacturing and installation teams to ensure compliance with specifications.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (minimum 9 years of relevant experience) or Master’s degree with at least 7 years of experience.
• Advanced English proficiency.
• Willingness to travel up to 25%.
• Self‑motivated, results‑driven and flexible to team needs.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CAD tools, specifically CATIA V5 (3D design).
• Experience using AutoCAD for 2D design.
• Strong analytical and engineering data analysis capabilities.
