DevOps Engineer – Remote (Mexico)

About the role

Capgemini Engineering is looking for a DevOps Engineer to join its remote team in Mexico. You will work on modern CI/CD pipelines that support embedded software development and help improve deployment efficiency across multiple projects.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins and related tools.
• Automate build, test and release processes with scripting (Bash, PowerShell, Python).
• Manage and optimise containerised environments with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Collaborate with Software Architects, Engineering Leads and DevSecOps teams to ensure secure development practices.
• Support continuous testing environments, integrating unit tests and automated quality checks.
• Monitor system reliability and performance, proposing improvements.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, reviews and retrospectives.

Required profile

• 4+ years of experience in DevOps, CI/CD or Build & Release engineering.
• Strong hands‑on experience with Git, GitHub, GitHub Actions and Jenkins.
• Proficiency with Docker, Kubernetes and container orchestration.
• Solid scripting skills in Bash, PowerShell or Python.
• Basic coding knowledge in C# or Java.
• Experience with Chocolatey package management.
• Familiarity with Agile frameworks and tools such as Jira.
• Experience with code‑quality tools like SonarQube or PC‑Lint.
