About the role

2 Hour Learning is seeking a visionary leader to steer its academic strategy worldwide. As Director of Academic Excellence, you will translate learning‑science research into practical frameworks that drive measurable student outcomes, all while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Design academic frameworks that turn learning‑science principles into actionable curriculum, motivation, and application guidelines.
• Conduct execution reviews with Heads of Academics to ensure alignment, accountability, and delivery of results across school sites.
• Integrate data analysis, stakeholder interviews, and direct observations into ecosystem assessments that pinpoint obstacles and recommend interventions.
• Maintain strategic alignment through planning cycles, feedback mechanisms, and milestone monitoring focused on student learning objectives.
• Represent 2 Hour Learning in high‑profile settings, delivering keynotes and engaging with Ministries of Education to promote systemic transformation.

Required profile

• Proven track record of leading academic initiatives that produce quantifiable learning gains.
• Experience directing large, multidisciplinary teams in an education‑technology environment.
• Strong credibility as a public speaker and advocate for evidence‑based learning models.
• Ability to translate scientific research into operational rigor and scalable practices.
