Director, RBS Continuous Improvement

About the role

The Director, Regal Rexnord Business System (RBS) drives organizational change and process improvement across the North America region for the Power and Efficiency Solutions (PES) segment. Reporting to the VP, RBS for the PES segment, the role deploys the RBS across North America, partners with the segment RBS team and manufacturing site RBS leads, and builds a culture of continuous improvement. The position is based in Juarez, Mexico.

Key responsibilities

• Apply RBS tools and methodologies to support SQDCG and financial objectives and mature the RBS across sites
• Develop and lead the division's CI roadmap, cascade it to sites and coach and train teammates on continuous improvement methods, including formal training and Gemba teaching
• Lead and coach multiple projects and Kaizen events at once
• Coach and develop talent across the division and help solve complex problems linking operational metrics (productivity, quality, OEE, lead time) to financial results
• Take part in the division strategic plan and policy deployment

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field
• At least 10 years of relevant experience in continuous improvement, operations and general management; global or multi-site experience preferred
• Location flexible across the Midwest/West US, near a major airport, with about 50% travel required

• Proficiency in change management frameworks
• CI tools such as 80/20, Lean Leadership, Daily Management, KPI Leadership, Standard Work, Gemba Walks, Value Stream Mapping, 6S, Kanban, FMEA, Advanced Problem Solving and RCCMs
• Ability to facilitate Kaizen events
• Analytical, critical thinking and leadership skills
• Preferred: advanced degree, PMP, Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, policy deployment and strategic planning experience
