E&S Underwriting Clearance Associate

About the role

The E&S Underwriting Clearance Associate supports Zurich underwriters on an assigned book of business, handling policy quoting, issuance and servicing. Working under close supervision, the associate evaluates risk exposures and assists with compliance and customer interactions.

Key responsibilities

• Review and evaluate risk exposures, loss history and financial condition to support underwriting decisions for submissions.
• Quote and issue policies, manage renewals and endorsements for basic to moderately complex business under guidance of underwriters.
• Provide account servicing support, handling customer inquiries and collaborating with brokers, agents and internal teams.
• Conduct due diligence on transactions to ensure compliance with regulations and internal standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (or high school diploma with 2+ years relevant experience).
• Knowledge of data collection, analysis and Microsoft Office.
• Strong communication and customer‑service orientation.
