About the role

The Senior Project & Construction Specialist will be responsible for executing approved infrastructure plans for new stores, remodels and minor works across the region. The role leads high‑profile supplier teams, manages CAPEX budgets above $1 million per project and ensures delivery of safe, attractive and functional retail locations.

Key responsibilities

• Execute infrastructure plans (new builds, remodels, minor works) on time and within scope, cost and regulatory requirements.
• Lead and coordinate high‑profile construction contractors and consultants, manage change orders and capital releases.
• Administer CAPEX budgets exceeding $1 M USD per project, handle financial closures, payments and supplier invoicing.
• Resolve conflicts, supervise off‑site and municipal improvement works, and ensure compliance with construction regulations.
• Manage multiple simultaneous projects (8+), collaborating with Design, GNFR, Operations, Compliance, Legal and Expansion teams.
• Identify store needs through interdisciplinary walkthroughs, validate designs and construction drawings, and coordinate equipment supply from conception to hand‑over.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture; specialization or postgraduate studies in Project Management preferred.
• 5‑8 years of experience in commercial/retail construction, remodeling and budgeting.
• Proven track record managing CAPEX, financial closures and high‑value supplier contracts.
• Experience leading multiple projects with budgets over $1 M USD.
• Intermediate English proficiency.
