Executive Assistant – Finance Focus

About the role

We are looking for a remote Executive Assistant with a strong finance focus to support the Finance Director of a UK‑based client. Working from LATAM, you will act as the bridge between executive strategy and day‑to‑day financial operations, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance across personal and corporate accounts.

Key responsibilities

• Track daily personal and company finances, manage expenses, process payments and monitor cash flow.
• Maintain organized financial records in spreadsheets and specialised accounting tools, guaranteeing data integrity.
• Serve as the primary liaison for UK accountants, banks and external financial partners.
• Execute invoicing, bank reconciliations and basic financial reporting for leadership.
• Manage payment schedules, filing deadlines and regulatory requirements to avoid any slippage.
• Design lightweight processes to improve efficiency of financial operations.
• Identify and flag financial inconsistencies or risks, proposing proactive solutions.

Required profile

• Solid understanding of basic accounting concepts and comfort working with numbers.
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
• Proven experience thriving in fully remote, distributed teams.
• Fluent English with strong written and verbal communication skills for daily interaction with UK stakeholders.

Required skills

• Expert‑level proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets.
• Experience with digital accounting ecosystems such as Xero or QuickBooks.
