Executive Chef

About the role

We are looking for an Executive Chef to lead the culinary program at Susurros del Corazón, a luxury oceanfront resort in Punta de Mita, Mexico. Reporting to the Resort Manager/Director of Food & Beverage, you will shape the guest dining experience across all outlets while driving commercial performance.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and strictly abide by state sanitation and health regulations and resort requirements, enforcing policy with all culinary team members.
• Manage the culinary area and assigned staff across Banquet, Breakfast/Lunch, Dinner, Prep, and Stewarding operations.
• Ensure proper maintenance and safe use of all kitchen equipment and tools.
• Comply with all departmental and resort policies and procedures.
• Review assignments, anticipate business levels, and adjust operations accordingly.
• Collaborate closely with the Director of F&B and culinary partners to establish business objectives, marketing, brand standards, and guest relations.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing culinary teams in a resort or hotel environment.
• Ability to enforce health and sanitation standards consistently.
• Strong knowledge of kitchen equipment maintenance and safe operation.
• Experience working with F&B leadership and external culinary partners.
