Experienced Associate IICE

About the role

PwC is seeking an Experienced Associate for its Indirect Tax (IICE) team in Monterrey. The role involves supporting clients with indirect tax planning, compliance and strategy across VAT, GST and sales tax regimes. You will work within the Tax practice, collaborating with global advisory, assurance and business services teams to deliver high‑quality solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Assist clients in navigating complex indirect tax regulations, including VAT, GST and sales tax.
• Provide guidance on tax planning, compliance and strategy to optimise client tax positions.
• Conduct research and analysis on indirect tax issues to support engagements.
• Prepare and review VAT returns and related documentation.
• Participate in tax dispute resolution and controversy management.
• Utilise tax technology tools to improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Support customs brokerage and valuation processes in line with regulatory requirements.
• Contribute to the development of tax models and continuous improvement of processes.

Required profile

• Oral and written proficiency in English.
• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related discipline.
• Strong analytical mindset and interest in indirect tax.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team‑oriented environment.
• Willingness to develop technical knowledge of tax services and technology.
