Facility Project Manager – 1 Year Contract

About the role

The Facility Project Manager will lead and coordinate projects that support the current and future needs of LEGO's facilities, systems, and equipment. This temporary, one‑year position works within the WS&O Projects area, applying the LEGO® Project Model methodology to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse steering‑committee requirements, define project scope, objectives, stakeholders and deliverables.
• Develop feasibility studies and business cases in line with the LEGO Project Model.
• Create and maintain action plans, priorities, procedures, KPIs, and standardized reports.
• Manage stakeholder communication, engagement and contingency planning throughout all project phases.
• Oversee contractors and suppliers, ensuring compliance with LEGO Construction Standards and safety requirements.
• Coordinate internal processes (EHS, security, governance, procurement, legal) and maintain comprehensive project documentation for hand‑over.
• Establish temporary project organisations, secure material, budget and labour resources, and partner with the Financial Controller for budget control.

Required profile

• Proven experience in project management, preferably within construction or industrial facilities.
• Strong background in managing large‑scale construction or retrofit projects.
• Ability to work in a matrix environment with multiple internal and external stakeholders.
• Excellent analytical, planning and communication skills.
