FEA Simulation Engineer

About the role

The Finite Element Analysis (FEA) Simulation Engineer will join Bosch's System Engineering team within the Power Solutions division. You will support internal product development teams by deriving requirements for current and future power‑related components and subsystems, and by providing detailed analyses of component behavior under realistic engine and vehicle scenarios.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with product development teams to define performance requirements for powertrain components.
• Perform static and dynamic FEA simulations to evaluate mechanical, thermal and combustion behavior.
• Analyse results to uncover underlying physics and cause‑effect relationships.
• Manage and follow up on simulation activities for new projects, ensuring compliance with internal and external customer specifications.
• Document findings and present recommendations to engineering stakeholders.

Required profile

• Strong background in Finite Element Method simulation and mechanical engineering principles.
• Deep knowledge of static and dynamic mechanics, thermodynamics, internal combustion, heat transfer, and data science as applied to powertrain components.
• Ability to interpret complex simulation data and translate it into actionable engineering insights.
