Finance Analyst / Controller – Reporting, Budgeting & Cost Optimization

About the role

The Finance Analyst / Controller Specialist ensures accurate financial reporting, drives rigorous budgeting, and identifies cost‑saving opportunities. You will lead the monthly business review cycle, validate data in corporate reporting systems, and build forecasting models that support executive decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and submit the monthly business review package and financial statements on time.
• Coordinate with accounting, treasury, and tax teams during month‑end close.
• Validate and reconcile data in the Global Reporting System to meet corporate standards.
• Develop, model, and consolidate forecasts, annual budgets, and mid‑term operational plans.
• Submit financial data to the SWX Finance Team and ensure correct integration.
• Monitor KPIs, analyze trends, and recommend process improvements.
• Identify and track cost‑containment initiatives with business units.
• Support special projects and ad‑hoc tasks assigned by the Head of Finance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related quantitative field.
• 3–5+ years of corporate finance, FP&A, or controlling experience, preferably in an international matrix or consulting‑engineering environment.
• Strong knowledge of month‑end closing, GAAP/IFRS, budgeting, variance analysis and cross‑functional finance compliance.
• Advanced professional English (written and spoken).

Required skills

• Advanced Excel (complex modeling, data automation).
• Experience with consolidated ERP architectures.
• Proficiency in Global Reporting Systems.
• Data‑visualisation tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
• Familiarity with SWX Finance reporting tools.
