Finance Manager – FP&A & Accounting Lead

About the role

SuperSummary is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to become the financial backbone of its fast‑growing EdTech SaaS platform. Reporting to the CEO and partnering with the VP of Operations, you will own both strategic FP&A and day‑to‑day accounting functions, ensuring accurate financial reporting and data‑driven decision making.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain the annual budget and rolling revenue forecasts, translating business strategy into financial models.
• Conduct monthly and quarterly variance analysis, surface insights and recommend actions.
• Track and report SaaS metrics such as MRR, ARR, churn, LTV, CAC, payback period and net dollar retention.
• Prepare leadership financial reporting, dashboards and scenario modeling.
• Own the full accounting cycle: monthly close, revenue recognition under ASC 606, and management of ChargeBee and Stripe billing operations.
• Manage the external bookkeeper and drive automation of financial tools, including AI‑assisted reconciliation.

Required profile

• Proven experience building finance functions in a SaaS or subscription‑based business.
• Strong understanding of consumer subscription economics, revenue recognition, deferred revenue and chargebacks.
• Ability to communicate financial insights to senior leadership and influence decisions.
