Finance Manager - SaaS

About the role

PosiTrace by Global Fleet Management is redefining GPS tracking for fleets in Mexico and Canada. The company is looking for a Finance Manager who will own the numbers for its 1,000+ fleets, tens of thousands of vehicles, and a 32‑person team in Guadalajara. You will work closely with the Global Controller in Vancouver and the local Country and Operations Managers.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the monthly close in ContPAQi within five days and deliver flash reports to Group Finance.
• Manage tax and statutory compliance (ISR, IVA, retenciones, DIOT, CFDI, IMSS, INFONAVIT, ISN Jalisco) and maintain the filing calendar.
• Oversee cash management, bank reconciliations, procurement approvals, accounts payable, order‑to‑cash and collections.
• Control hardware inventory at serial level, handle import documentation and landed‑cost calculations.
• Prepare the company for SAT audits and keep the PBC list audit‑ready.
• Lead and develop a team of four finance professionals.

Required profile

• Public Accountant with cédula profesional (IMCP certification a plus).
• 8+ years of finance experience, including several years as Controller or #2 in a foreign‑owned subsidiary in Mexico.
• Hands‑on experience with recurring billing, hardware inventory and field technicians.
• Strong knowledge of NIF, IFRS or US GAAP and experience with ContPAQi.
• Fluent in Spanish and English, able to run close in Spanish and review in English.
