Financial Controller – Global Services & Digital Technology

About the role

The Financial Controller will safeguard and create value for Mars Global Services and Digital Technology by ensuring robust financial accounting processes, timely reporting, and compliance with Mars accounting standards across all global service centers.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate with segment controllers and the Corporate Financial Controller group to enforce a consistent, tightly‑managed closing process.
• Drive adherence to Mars global accounting policies, corporate reporting requirements, and financial processes within DT/MGS.
• Lead the DT/MGS controllership team to maintain efficient controls and accurate financial statements for services delivered worldwide.
• Tailor accounting policies, procedures, and processes to meet segment needs while aligning with corporate standards.
• Manage compliance with all corporate reporting deadlines, simplify and standardise the close calendar, and improve balance‑sheet management globally.
• Act as the first line of defence for technical accounting queries and coordinate with Corporate Finance as required.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in financial controllership or corporate accounting within a large, multinational environment.
• Strong knowledge of accounting standards and ability to enforce policy compliance.
• Proven leadership skills to manage and develop a global controllership team.
• Excellent analytical abilities and attention to detail.
