Financial Controller

About the role

As a senior member of the Plant Executive Committee, the Financial Controller ensures that all financial transactions are recorded accurately and on time. You will act as the primary finance liaison for on‑site business stakeholders and drive continuous improvements in financial processes.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain a robust control environment and seek efficiencies in finance operations.
• Consolidate annual accounts and produce the Management Information pack for month‑end closing.
• Manage the yearly external audit and internal audits from the Group.
• Oversee the quarterly rolling forecast, annual budgeting, and cash‑flow forecasting.
• Partner with business units on cost control, pricing, and financial reporting.
• Lead routine finance processes (salaries, creditors, debtors) in line with Cluster standards.
• Coordinate SAP and other IT implementations with the Divisional team.
• Support supply‑chain cost management and sales pricing negotiations.

Required profile

• Senior finance professional with experience in a manufacturing or packaging environment.
• Proven ability to manage compliance, internal and external audits, and year‑end reporting.
• Strong analytical mindset and capability to influence business strategy.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, reporting directly to the Plant Manager and dotted‑line to the Divisional CFO.
