Financial Planning & Analysis Specialist

About the role

FP&A Senior Analyst is responsible for leading and supporting financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, management reporting, and business performance analysis. The role partners closely with finance leaders, business teams, and functional departments to evaluate financial performance and deliver actionable insights.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary analytical resource and business partner for a variety of financial analyses.
• Summarize analysis results for monthly presentations to executive management.
• Participate in annual planning and quarterly Latest Estimate processes, consolidating submissions and preparing executive presentations.
• Coordinate monthly forecasting and annual budgeting, continuously improving templates and reporting presentations.
• Perform CRP – P&L budgets/forecasts, analyze variances, and prepare cause‑of‑change explanations.
• Support the monthly close, analyze results, and provide variance explanations.
• Review P&L and general ledger balances to ensure accuracy and compliance with IFRS and Mexican standards.
• Prepare monthly analysis of key financial statement accounts, including income statement and balance sheet items.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field.
• Exposure to IFRS, Mexican Financial Reporting Standards (NIF), and internal control processes.
• Relevant experience in financial analysis, budgeting cycles, and management reporting.
